Why Managed IT Instead of Break-Fix Support

Break-fix IT means you call someone when something stops working. You pay per incident, wait for a technician, and absorb the downtime cost. For a team of 10 people losing half a day, that’s rarely cheaper than a monthly plan — and that’s before counting the security incidents that go unnoticed for weeks.

Managed IT flips the model. Because we’re responsible for uptime and security posture month-over-month, the incentive is to prevent problems rather than fix them after the fact. Patch management, monitoring, and MFA enforcement happen proactively. Most issues are resolved before your team notices them.

How It Works

  1. Onboarding call — 60-minute session to document your current environment, identify gaps, and agree on scope
  2. Endpoint enrolment — all devices enrolled in Intune, monitoring agent deployed, MFA enforced
  3. Baseline security review — Microsoft Secure Score assessed, quick wins implemented in week one
  4. Ongoing management — monthly patch cycles, quarterly security reviews, helpdesk access from day one

Onboarding typically takes 3–5 business days for teams up to 25 people. No downtime required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum contract length?

Plans run month-to-month with 30 days’ notice to cancel. There’s no lock-in — the goal is to earn the renewal, not enforce it contractually.

What happens if something breaks outside business hours?

Essential and Professional plans cover Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 CET. For out-of-hours critical incidents on the Professional plan, emergency escalation is available by phone at an agreed rate. Enterprise plans include a custom SLA — 24/7 coverage and on-call response can be scoped into the contract.

Do you support Mac and Linux, or only Windows?

Windows is the primary managed platform, but macOS is fully supported via Intune and Jamf. Linux servers are supported under Professional and Enterprise plans. If your team runs a mixed environment, that’s a normal situation — we document it during onboarding.

Can we add devices during the month?

Yes. Devices above the plan tier are billed at a per-device rate (documented in your contract) and prorated to the next renewal date. Growing teams won’t hit a cliff edge mid-cycle.

Is support delivered in English or German?

Both. All engineers communicate fluently in English and German. Documentation, reports, and ticketing can be configured in either language — or both, for mixed teams.
